A burin is a stone chisel-type tool that can be used for speeding up the carving process. It destroys pixels around 1 by 3 and must be used with a hammer. It can be later made into a stone chisel, which will allow more precise chiseling. You can also rotate the direction of the chisel, so it can vary 1 by 3 or 3 by 1. A later metal version, the precision chisel, takes only one pixel away.
